What are the maximum funding allocations for student organizations?
Programming funds: First come, first serve until funds are gone. Operating funds: $300 per year per student organization. Tournament and Competition funds: Maximum of $3,500 per year per student organization.
Can A.S. funding be used to purchase permanent items?
No, A.S. funding cannot be used for the purchase of items considered permanent.
What is the difference between Programming and Operating funds?
Programming funds are used for funding specific events while Operating funds are used for items that are not covered by programming funds.
Can I change the date of an event if I have already received funding approval?
Yes, you can change the date of an event after you have received funding approval if the event is being delayed to a later date. To do this please contact the Sr. AVP of Student Organizations, your SLBO fund manager, and your CSI advisor to get approval for the date change.
What do I do if I made a mistake on a funding application I have already submitted?
If you have made a mistake on your funding application you will need to submit a new application for the event.
Can I still be approved for funding if I submit my application late?
No, A.S. cannot approve any applications that are submitted past the deadline for the application.
