DESCRIBE THE EVENT, TRY TO INCLUDE HOW IT RELATES TO YOUR MISSION OR VALUES: This is the event where UCSD students can begin building bonds and creating a community with Product Space at UC San Diego. As one of the last recruitment events, our current board members would love an opportunity to get to know prospective members on a personal level and also offer them an opportunity to hear our stories within Product Space. By sharing our stories with potential new members, we hope they can empathize with us and find a sense of belonging within our organization. We hope new members learn more about why we joined, what we do, and what we have learned from Product Space. As college students trying to navigate careers is product management, design, and marketing, we hope to offer community to those also looking for professional guidance. By using this opportunity to foster personal connection, we hope to uphold our values of empathy and community to the rest of UCSD.
