DESCRIBE THE EVENT, TRY TO INCLUDE HOW IT RELATES TO YOUR MISSION OR VALUES
This event is a workshop featuring Anne Cardenas, a staff scientist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She will be talking NETS members through the process that her and other scientists go through in order to ensure that their experiments are ethically in line with LLNL's mission, along with some of the ethical dilemmas she has faced in her position. We hope that this event will expose our club members to real-world applications of Nanoengineering, and give them a glimpse into the types of problems they could solve through engineering and all of the factors to consider while doing so.
