Symphonic Student Association (SSA) is a great student's platform for more social opportunities and for orchestra members to interact with each other outside of rehearsal. SSA strives to foster a community for classical musicians and make classical music more accessible in the community by hosting both musical and non-musical social events. SSA has hosted many Chamber Orchestra (MUS 95E) receptions over the years, and many musicians and audiences stayed for longer after the concert and enjoyed the cake and pizzas. This fall, we would like to expand our horizon and hold a similar concert reception event but for another wonderful music group on campus, which is the UCSD Wind Ensemble (MUS 95L). We hope our SSA members can enjoy the cross-talk between different music groups on campus.
