The Muslim Tech Collaborative (MTC) at UCSD is hosting an alumni panel and networking event featuring MTC alumni who have successfully transitioned into careers in technology. This event directly supports our mission of fostering mentorship, professional growth, and community among Muslim and allied students in tech. The panel will provide valuable insights into career growth, networking strategies, and challenges faced in the industry, particularly from the perspective of Muslim professionals navigating the tech landscape. Alumni working in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship will share their experiences, discuss industry trends, and offer guidance on breaking into and advancing within the field. Following the discussion, we will host a Q&A session where attendees can engage directly with the panelists, gaining personalized advice on career development, job searching, and navigating workplace culture. The event will conclude with an informal networking session, allowing students to build meaningful connections with alumni and peers. By creating this platform for knowledge-sharing and mentorship, MTC continues its commitment to equipping students with the resources, community, and guidance necessary for success in the tech industry.
