Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: Our mission is to give back to our local community here in san diego and in tijuana, mexico. Just yesterday, 4/3/2025 we had an AS funded study jam event which was a huge success. More than 50 students came, most came for the food but some stayed to hear about our mission. Recruiting students for our cause is a huge step toward being able to provide hands at homeless shelters and free health clinics. This event definitely will help reach out to students and hopefully garner some more interest in our local community here at UC San Diego. Providing food to students is very helpful when advertising to get heads in the door, whether they are interested in the organization or not students can leave with a full belly.
