Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: In this event, we will be teaching attendees the art of Chinese calligraphy. It will help introduce people to new art mediums and expand their skill sets, which will include the use of Chinese calligraphy ink and paper. All arts and craft items are meant to be a one-time use only for this event, and will be disposed of immediately after the event happens. Additionally, MANDE 220A is the dedicated Studio Art drawing classroom that we have gotten approved to use by VIS Facilities in the past, and are still given permission to use for our art related workshops and events.
