We are organizing a Stock Pitch Competition to promote sustainable and responsible investment practices among students. This event aligns with SIG's mission of advancing sustainable investment by encouraging participants to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors into their investment strategies. The competition provides students with valuable opportunities to develop core skills in financial analysis, ESG integration, and strategic thinking. It fosters innovation and collaboration while encouraging participants to consider the long-term social and environmental impact of financial decisions. Students will engage with peers and professionals, learn from expert feedback, and refine their communication and presentation skills. This event fits into the A.S. funding guidelines in several key ways. It appeals to a wide audience of undergraduate students interested in finance, sustainability, and business. It advances student interests by promoting awareness of ESG issues and responsible investing—topics that are increasingly relevant in today’s world. Through skill-building and professional engagement, the event offers clear positive learning outcomes and supports the development of leadership and communication abilities.
