Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: The event is open to all UCSD undergraduates, although targeted to Bioengineering students. The event provides an opportunity for Bioengineering Seniors to showcase their capstone projects, and also provides a platform for other student organizations to showcase their yearlong projects. It provides students an opportunity to learn about the field of Bioengineering from industry demonstrations and a keynote speech by a prominent academic, and also provides an opportunity for networking. Bioengineering Day contributes to the UCSD campus community by celebrating innovation in Bioengineering.
