Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: Circle K International will be hosting our first GBM of the fall quarter to invite new and returning members of CKI to present to new students at UCSD, new to college students, or students looking for a new community. We will be presenting who we are, what UCSD CKI focuses on, our district fundraising and service initiatives, and our largest events of the year. Within the GBM, we will be having catering of food after a series of icebreakers to get to know people better and possibly a service event at the end to get students started. Providing icebreakers, food, and events catered to new members reflects our values of service and community as we hope to provide a welcoming environment focused on supporting members throughout their college experiences.
