The first general body meeting (GBM) of Fall Quarter will provide information about the service, social, fundraising and other events and opportunities that we offer. We will also share and detail our mission statement: we are a student-run, nonprofit humanitarian organization that aims to help the underserved communities both locally in San Diego and abroad in Vietnam through medical and educational means. This is one of our most important events of the year, as we will use this event to attract new members as well as retain previous ones who support our cause and/or are interested in the events we have. Due to similar success in previous years (~400 people that came out to Fall 2024 GBM 1), we believe that offering Cane's will incentivize people to come out to learn more about our organization and cause.
