Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: This will be VGDC's first event of the 2025 school year in which we will be introducing the club to incoming students and those interested in game development. The event will go over what exactly game development entails and the many disciplines such as art, programming, audio, and writing that it includes -- emphasizing that game development is a field where anyone from any major/study can contribute and participate in no matter the skill level. After a presentation on our new officers/board, fall quarter and future events/projects, and what game development is, we will be opening the event to giving newcomers and opportunity to meet and bond with our current member base.
