Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: The Vertical Flight Society at UC San Diego will host its first our Build-A-Drone-Kit event! This hands-on workshop will give students the opportunity to assemble beginner-friendly drone kits while learning the fundamentals of vertical flight and UAV systems. Come learn more about how we support students interested in rotorcraft, drones, and advanced air mobility systems! Food will be included since this meeting last more than hour and providing food will engage the students into our student organization. We want to feed our UC San Diego Tritons while we provide them with lots of opportunities to build and engage with student engineers.
