Flying Samaritans is a student-run non-profit organization at UCSD that provides medical and dental services to low-income communities. We have monthly trips to different communities in Baja California, Mexico in which we provide our services. We visit nursing homes, orphanages, and clinics in Rosarito, Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe, and San Vicente. During this general body meeting, we will be presenting about Flying Samaritans as an organization -- will go over our outreach programs, clinic trips, volunteer opportunities, and our overall purpose as an organization. We believe that from this general body meeting, we are able to benefit UCSD students interested in a healthcare career with opportunities to volunteer, but more importantly, we will be able to better serve the low-income communities we work with, as we can provide more care through having more people interested in our organization.
