Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: The "Majiang at UC San Diego Halloween Social Night" is a free and opening to all event planned by the Mjiang at UC San Diego. The event is planned to be held on October 31, 2025, and will be offering a highly interactive social bonding event to all students and staff at UCSD. An estimated 300 participants are expected for this party event. We are aiming to provide food and beverages and also host various forms of performances throughout the night for students to relax after the first round of midterms and enjoy the Halloween spirit. Members of the Majiang club will also be providing interactive games with scripted plots, and surprise gifts to further entertain the community. We are hoping this event will be a memorable night for students to get to know more about the Majiang members and a chance for them to meet one another and bond with more individuals in the larger San Diego community.
