Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: The Fall Faculty Mixer is being hosted with our sister organisation, AIChE to create a platform for Chemical Engineering and NanoEngineering faculty to interact with professors outside of class. This will serve as a means for students to know their department better, explore research opportunities and ask questions. The event fits into the A.S. funding guidelines as it enhances the undergraduate experience at UC San Diego for engineering majors and gives a platform for students to explore their career interests and further their college experience out of academic courseload.
