Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: The ACM at UCSD Winter Kickoff is a community-building and informational event that is open and accessible to all UC San Diego undergraduate students, regardless of major, background, or skill level. The event promotes student engagement in technology, design, and innovation, while offering inclusive entry points into ACM’s wide range of academic, professional, and social opportunities. The event does not charge admission, will only admit UCSD students, staff, or faculty, and only UCSD undergraduates will receive A.S.-funded food and drink. Aside from including the required documents for funding, the funding requested is also $10 per person at most.
