Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines

We are hosting this event to continue to bring together the art community on campus through a fun, themed, cafe event that will include many activities for our attendees and members to participate in as they enjoy food and drinks they can get at our event. We find that this falls into AS funding guidelines because we want to encourage artists to collaborate together for these round table activities, and think this event will especially help attendees de-stress from classwork as this will be around the time for midterms. We plan to give out all crafting materials that are AS funded out to attendees to use for free during our event, and we plan to use everything we are requesting since our event will be across the span of 8 hours with attendees going in and out. We plan to have activities including origami, friendship bracelet making, photocard holder decorating, coloring page making, keychain making, and rainbow scratch art. As an additional note, the estimate made within the Line Item Costs of the application below is the estimate made not including the discounts as shown on Amazon during this time.
