IS THE EVENT ON CAMPUS?
Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines
This event fits into the A.S funding guidelines because it appeals to the wide audience of Afghan undergraduate students / those who are interested in learning about the Afghan Culture. This event cultivates a warm and safe space for students to come meet new people and Afghans in the UCSD community. This event welcomes and encourages individuals within different campus groups and individuals to come learn about the Afghan culture while enjoying a warm dinner to either break their fast if they are muslim or to just engage with like-minded individuals. Social events such as Iftar Night is an amazing way to bring the UCSD community together and encourage students to communicate with a diverse cultural group.
