Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: This event is a social event meant to bring together the Asian community through fun art activities, food, games, and a small gallery. We are inviting other organizations to join us in helping prepare our event, and so our communities can socialize as well. We are requesting food to give for free to our attendees which we predict will run out. We are also providing arts and craft materials for our attendees which we also predict will run out, and any remaining will be disposed of after the event. The activities we will have will be paper lantern making, red envelope decorating, Chinese calligraphy painting, and lucky red knot making. Everything we are requesting is meant for one time use only for this event.
