The Indian Classical Dance competition, Nakshatra, is hosted at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and is one of many competitions in the collegiate competitive classical dance circuit, Origins Championship. Each team will present a six to eight minute choreographed and perfected dance routine that highlights a specific theme and storyline. The performances will then be judged by a panel of experienced judges who will take into account various aspects including storytelling, expressiveness, technical skills, and synchronicity.
