Symphonic Student Association (SSA) is a great student's platform for more social opportunities and for orchestra members to interact with each other outside of rehearsal. SSA strives to foster a community for classical musicians and make classical music more accessible in the community by hosting both musical and non-musical social events. Since the foundation of SSA, the Chamber Orchestra has been one of our closest collaborators, who provides a platform for our club members to meet and perform a diverse range of symphonic repertoires. After the Chamber Orchestra (MUS 95E) concert, a reception event can bring many musicians and audiences together to network and make new friends. In the past years, many musicians and audiences stayed for longer after the concert and enjoyed the cake and pizzas. No food went to waste any time we hosted this event. We will be very pleased if we can keep our tradition of holding concert receptions again this coming quarter
