The general board meeting of Students for Global Health (S4GH) serves as a collaborative forum where members come together to discuss global health challenges, plan initiatives, and organize impactful community events. During these meetings, we emphasize promoting equity, inclusion, and empowerment—values that closely align with the UCSD Associated Students mission of advocating for student welfare, fostering a diverse and inclusive campus community, and enhancing opportunities for student development. Through open discussions and active participation, our general board meetings provide a space for students from various backgrounds and disciplines to engage with global health issues, reflecting AS's commitment to student advocacy and community-building. These meetings not only allow us to strategize around promoting health equity on a global scale but also encourage members to develop leadership skills, propose innovative solutions, and collaborate with peers in a supportive and inclusive environment. Additionally, S4GH general board meetings support the AS mission of enhancing student life by providing a platform for professional growth, education, and civic engagement, empowering students to make a meaningful impact locally and globally.
