Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: The Projects Branch at HKN is hosting its first-ever project showcase. The event will be open to the UCSD public, and we will be inviting professors, engineer connections & UCSD students to come see all of the projects that our project teams and our individual members have been working on. The event will be split into two parts, where the first part will be dedicated to a presentation-style format showcasing the projects that HKN has been funding. The second part will be dedicated to a symposium-style showcase, where all of the participating projects will have booths set up for the attendees to walk around and see. There will be food (non-alcoholic) ordered from a vendor for the attendees to enjoy while at the event. We will need table for the booths and also to serve the food.
