Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: The upcoming General Body Meeting (GBM) for Triton Droids is an exciting opportunity to introduce new members to our club’s mission: to design, innovate, and create the first humanoid robot at UCSD. This GBM is crucial to expanding our team and building a community passionate about advancing robotics. In alignment with our club’s values—fostering creativity, collaboration, and cutting-edge technology—the event will provide a space for current and prospective members to connect, share ideas, and explore how their unique skills can contribute to developing our first functional humanoid robot. We will be serving Gong Cha from the new UCSD location, which is not yet on the TAP form we presume will be added due to the 20% discount offer for Fall Quarter. All the foods will be served to students, and we will order 50 drinks with different variety to account for different student preferences.
