Please briefly describe why this event fits into the A.S funding guidelines: VGDC’s Halloween Social event is one of the club’s most prominent gatherings of the fall quarter. Members are encouraged to attend in costume, participate in a costume contest, play student-made projects on our custom arcade machine, enjoy our arts and crafts table, and to socialize/network with other club members. We aim for this event to expand the community of student game developers on the UC San Diego campus in addition to providing them a social environment to work on and showcase their own game development projects. Members will also be informed of game development opportunities with the club taking place from the remainder of fall to early winter quarter.
