NETS Fall GBM
49
We had more attendees than expected. I think this happened because we advertised the event in advanced. we also went to NANO classes to encourage new students to come and tabled at the Nano and Chemical Engineering Orientation.

The purpose of this event was to welcome new nano students and to welcome back other students. We introduced what NETS is, introduced the board, displayed upcoming events, and played a mixer game to help students form new connections.
This event was definitely a success. We had a larger than expected attendance and our attendees participated in and enjoyed the event. I saw new and old student forming a stronger nano community.
I think our organizations most valuable resource is our ability to work together as a cohesive team. Our board is very passionate about the strengthening the nano community and I think this leads to very successful events.
The event ran smoothly.
We ran out of food and not everyone got some, so I may try to have a little more food, however given the new funding guidelines I don't know how attainable that is.
We did a good job advertising this event.
The funding guide of $10/expected attendee is not a reasonable one. I have applied for AS funding for a number of events and this metric is not really doable if we want to have any variety in the food at out events.
