IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? We expected around 60 students and more than double showed up. I think we really wanted a lot of people to come, but weren't that confident that we could get so many students to come out. In the future, understanding UCSD is such a big college, we can plan for more students.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
We wanted to invite the new and returning students to or back to UCSD and our fellowship. We wanted to provide a space where people could enjoy their time and get to know one another as well.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
I think it was very successful. Over 100 students came and stayed for the whole event. We heard good reviews about the activities and conversations from those that attended as well.

WHAT WOULD YOU DESCRIBE AS YOUR MOST VALUABLE RESOURCE?
The boba provided through AS funding was really valuable for drawing people in and making people curious about our event, which is why our turnout was so large.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
If any complications arose, we had a team managing the event that were ready to drive or call to get appropriate help for a larger complication. Any other complications would've also been worked around with this team.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
I would anticipate more people and order more food or drinks.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
We would've promoted that AS Funding better as the sponsor of our event. We posted the events on our social media page. We could possibly post earlier to engage more people.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FEEDBACK FOR US ON THE A.S. FUNDING APPLICATION/PROCESS? HOW CAN WE BETTER SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR ORGANIZATION?
At the time, the discord for questions was not open so some things were confusing, but it seems good now that questions can be answered.
