IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? Our expected attendance estimate was actually fairly accurate in comparison to the actual attendance numbers (all around 160 students). We will continue to aim for our attendance estimates to be close to the actual attendance counts.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The purpose of the event was to provide an information session about ACM's big-little / mentor-mentee program Bit-Byte. In the event, we invited any prospective members who wanted to be bits or bytes to come listen to the Bit Byte directors given an introduction on what this year's iteration will look like. After the presentation concluded, we also gave extra time to allow our members to casually mingle with one another.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, we consider the first Bit-Byte event of the year to be a great success. There was a large turnout and members stayed after to continue to engage with one another and build community. We also received great positive feedback afterwards and will host this event again next year

WHAT WOULD YOU DESCRIBE AS YOUR MOST VALUABLE RESOURCE?
One of the most valuable resources we have is AS! We were able to offer all of those who came boba, which we could not have done without funding from AS. We received lots of positive comments about the fact that we could provide free boba for participants.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
Because we have run this event in the past, no complications arose during the event.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
For the next event, we could try to find a room with a larger room capacity to ensure that all members have a comfortable space to sit and talk to one another.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
In the future, we could boost attendance and eyes on the program by marketing about Bit-Byte more on our Instagram, Website, and Tiktok.
