VGDC Halloween Social

It was almost exactly the same, which is honestly sort of a surprise given how far our other events exceeded expectations. I think the main thing is most of our executive team (myself included) was on a trip the weekend before the event, and we didn't do any tabling, so there was just less time and effort put into marketing the event. Understanding the impact that tabling had, and putting more time into marketing, will be huge priorities going forward.

External funding from CSE department, leftover funds from club bank account
To build the game development community on campus by giving game developers an opportunity to connect and socialize, destressing from midterms and having fun together.
Yes, everyone seemed to have a good time and we roughly met expectations, and we did accomplish our goal of connecting game developers. We just want to make sure we keep attendance numbers up going forward.
As always, our passionate officers and members of the club. Our community is the lifeblood of VGDC, and the collective passion that we put into the event was our most valuable asset in making it a success.
Nothing significant - some of the food was a little bit late, so we opened the doors a little bit late, but we'll just schedule our orders earlier for next time. We also didn't plan ahead on paying for AV/Tech, and had to switch from Little Caesar's to Papa John's, so those were minor speedbumps in the AS funding process that were fairly easily resolved.
We'll do more marketing, and hopefully we'll be tabling more for future events. Also, we'll schedule catering orders for earlier (maybe 30-60 minutes earlier) to make sure everything is on time.
Nothing significant here. I'm sure we can always put in more effort and create more engagement, but ultimately I don't feel that online advertising was a bottleneck.
No feedback, everything went smoothly!
