The purpose of the event was to celebrate Yuji Ichioka, who was a prominent Japanese American civil rights activist that attended UCLA. Another goal of the event was to connect the Nikkei Student Union's from multiple schools.

Yes, I think that the event was a success because we were able to have fun playing basketball with other NSU's while learning more about Yuji Ichioka as well.

I think that our most valuable resource for this event were the people that chose to go, because it wouldn't have been possible for us to send a team without them.

There weren't any complications that arose throughout the event.

I would start the AS Funding application process sooner.

I wouldn't make any changes because we had more than enough people sign up.

The AS Funding guide says that the tournament application should be submitted 2 weeks prior to departure for the event, but the actual form says it should be submitted 1 week before.
