IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? There were less people that attended than estimated. I believe this was due to competing events that were occurring on campus at the same time, as well as a lack of advance promotion.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The purpose of the event was to provide a welcoming atmosphere for new and returning members to enjoy a hot meal and learn more about leadership opportunities and other events hosted by our organization.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
I would consider the event to be a success since there was plenty of food for our attendees and everyone seemed to enjoy their time. There were also several members interested in applying for our open board positions for next year.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
Our most valuable resource was the staff and board members involved who helped pick up the food, set up, and break down the event. Without their assistance, the event would not have gone as smoothly as it did.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
There were no complications.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
For the next event, we would promote it earlier in advance on social media to increase member awareness and encourage greater attendance.
