IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? There was a slight difference due to the fact that the event was right before our bigger event, the start up recruitment fair.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
This was the first part of our Innovator Series where we invited an innovator called Micheal Yip to explain their journey through academics and industry in MedTech. Afterwards, there will be time for students to ask questions and network with one another. Our mission is to assist with grassroots ideation within MedTech, and we believe that communicating and learning from someone who has gone through that process will be helpful for our students.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, I do believe it to be a success simply because a lot of the students found the speaker very informative and helpful when it comes to stepping into the MedTech world.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
Our network of students and professionals.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
No complications. However, we did not complete the TAP form, so we were denied the funding from AS Funding.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
We would be more on top of the TAP Form deadlines, but being more proactive and having our organizaiton mmebers to take charge.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
We would definitely start promoting earlier and sharing it with more clubs.
