IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? We had more people attend then we expected, but we were still able to accomodate for them. We originally expected around 25-30 people to attend, so we will make sure to always have extra materials available for workshops. For this workshop, we had enough materials with 50 people, so we were able to accomodate all attendees.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
Teaching attendees about the basics of digital forensics, as well as how to dump and recover files from a USB flash drive.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, we would consider the event to have been a success. Although the lecture portion could have been more engaging, we think that the workshop portion was engaging and all attendees were able to participate in the activity.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
No major differences.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
The file recovery demonstration did not go as smoothly as planned, but we were still able to showcase the features that we intended to.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
We would rehearse more on the lecture portion of workshops, and try to shorten it and make it more engaging.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
We would announce the event much earlier, and have more alternative advertising (maybe even an ARG, if we make this workshop a series).
