IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? There was a slight dip in turnout, likely due to lower visibility and limited demand, as the professor is not widely known. For future events, we plan to boost engagement by promoting directly in classrooms and implementing a stronger marketing strategy.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The purpose of this event is to inspire interdisciplinary collaboration and equip future healthcare innovators with insights into MedTech, AI, and entrepreneurship by connecting them with academic leaders like Professor Gert Cauwenberghs.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, I do believe it to be a success simply because a lot of the students found the speaker very informative and helpful when it comes to stepping into the MedTech world.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
Yes, attendance differed because our event was actually hosted on 4/15 and funds granted from 4/17 were given to us for our 4/15 event. Therefore, our event didn't show up on the A.S. Attendance Verification Form, so we had to use an alternative form.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
Besides the A.S. Attendance Verification, there were no complication.s

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
We would be more on top of planning the event time and dates so there are no discrepancies between AS Funding and TAP deadlines. And, definitely more marketing to increase the turnout of the event.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
We would definitely start promoting earlier and sharing it with more clubs.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FEEDBACK FOR US ON THE A.S. FUNDING APPLICATION/PROCESS? HOW CAN WE BETTER SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR ORGANIZATION?
We had a lot of questions regarding this process, but they were left unanswered due to lack of response in email. So more support regarding rules and deadlines would be very beneficial.
