IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? We actually got a lot more attendees than we expected coming to our event, and believe this is because of the extra help we got from DCO helping us host this event.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
We hosted our Craft Social event for our attendees and members to be able to socialize while making some fun artistic crafts together.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
We believe this event was a huge success, and encouraged people to get to know one another while having fun trying out all of the crafts we had!

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
Yes because we heard from members who went to the event that the form was glitched out for them during that time (only showing one event from another organization that was not our Craft Social Event) and because of an internal error from A.S. that did not paste all the people who attended our event into the spreadsheet. There were many officers who reported that they had filled out the form there in-person, even though it did not show up on the spreadsheet.We also believe there was an error because whoever created the slides originally made and posted an organization specific attendance counting form, and not the A.S. one. We showed the A.S. form a little after when we adjusted the slides there in-person. We estimated that the total attendance is larger than 75 people, and you can see that displayed in the pictures in the PDF below: showing both what A.S. had recorded vs. the pictures from the event itself showing the true larger attendance count.

We shared our complications above.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
For next event, we will prioritize asking for people to fill out the attendance form at the beginning of the event before hosting our main activities to go around this issue.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
I would keep it the same as it was. I found it was incredibly successful.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FEEDBACK FOR US ON THE A.S. FUNDING APPLICATION/PROCESS? HOW CAN WE BETTER SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR ORGANIZATION?
Please be on time with responding to emails bringing up these errors. I sent an email around the time our attendance sheet was updated, and did not get an email back, nor got help solving the issue with how the attendance was listed incorrectly. This was also an issue from the past as well with our ArtSpark Cafe Event, and we never got a follow-up on fixing that either.
