The goal of the event is to provide students a perspective on the post-undergraduate journey, whether it be in industry or graduate school. We invited Professor Patrycja Hopkins, a UCSD lecturer that works in industry, to share her story on her professional development and what helped her get the job positions she holds today. She also answered many questions from the audience, providing invaluable advice to the attending undergraduates on applying to industry and choosing between going straight into industry versus pursuing further education.
