On-Campus Tour with Harriet Tubman Village Charter #2
12
This was around the number of participants we were expecting. The overall number of participants were lower than usual as it is near the end of the school year. It is also currently not induction season, meaning there are no inductees that usually sign up to help with the tour. However, other officers and 198 students came to help.

The goal of the event was to expose middle schoolers from Harriet Tubman Village Charter School college life and a few inspiring student organizations on campus (RPL, NSBE and SHPE). Our goal is to encourage them to pursue STEM, especially engineering, in the future.
Yes! Both the students and teachers seemed to have a great time touring the campus. Many of the kids had such insightful questions about college in general and pursuing engineering in college. The students seemed extra intrigued during the RPL presentation, where they could view and explore the projects they had been working on.
I don't think so. We had everyone (all tour leads & volunteers) sign in and we kept track to the best of our ability.
There were no complications during this tour.
There were many volunteers who forgot to fill out the form required for the tour until a couple days or even the day before the tour. This could be solved by sending reminders or even heavily emphasizing the need to fill out the google form early.
Our target for advertising is members of our organization, so marketing is very good at getting where it needs to go through Instagram, our email newsletter, and Discord announcements. There are no changes.
AS funding was very helpful for this event. Having pizza at the end of these tours thanks our volunteers for their hard work!
