The goal of this event was to create an informal and fun environment for our new and past members to meet each other, and to expand the feeling of community within our organization.
Yes, we consider this event to be a success. We had a great turnout, and everyone who attended had a lot of fun. We had several new members who got to meet the board and past members and played board games with them, and I felt that we really expanded our community through this event.
I do not yet have access to what was recorded on A.S. attendance verification, but it may or may not have differed by a few people. We made an effort to ensure that everyone who came signed in promptly, but there is the possibility that not everyone signed our paper records.
No complications arose.
I believe that our event went really well, and I do not feel that we need to change any of our marketing or social ideas in the future.
We will probably follow a similar method as usual, where we post on Instagram and send out flyers via email to promote our events and spread awareness of our events.
