IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? There was a difference in the estimated and actual attendance because I overestimated the amount of people that would attend the event. I thought with our advertising and networking we would get 50 people and we ended up getting half. This event showed me we would get around 30 people each event instead of 50.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The purpose of this event was provide a community for those who are learning Arabic or have an Arab background.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
I consider the event to be a semi success because everyone had positive feedback, everyone enjoyed the event, all of the food got eaten, and we were very well prepared. On the other hand I wish we would have reached the estimated attendance of 50.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
I do not believe the attendance on the forms differs from what I stated but I am not sure. I got the number above by doing a head count but my number could be off because within the 3 hour time frame there were people coming in and out. The number on the verification form could also be incorrect because some people did not fill out the form.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
The only complication that arose during the event was that videos on youtube were not playing correctly but we were able to resolve it before the event began.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
I would try to have more of an array of food and options for people to eat just in case someone did not like the dessert and tea we brought.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
I would try and advertise more, we did not post our flyers up around the school like we should have and we only advertised online so next time I would try and advertise everywhere.
