WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
We hosted a boba social + board game night. It was a time for returning students and newcomers to hang out and get to know each other as the school year was getting started.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes! People came for the boba and stayed for the board games. The open space of the student center plaza gave people breathing room to chat in groups, move from game to game, and ask questions about our organization.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
Likely, because we focused on having the people that received boba fill out the attendance form. It was an open space where passerby students could join in playing board games, so even with a registration table there was likely to be a small margin of attendance differences.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
We would have immediately de-escalated the situation by ensuring the general public’s safety. We would strive to be in compliance with campus guidelines and contact proper authorities or help when deemed necessary by principal members or board members of the organization.

No changes, we did our best to promote this event with AS as a sponsor, and we’re very transparent about it to avoid any complications.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FEEDBACK FOR US ON THE A.S. FUNDING APPLICATION/PROCESS? HOW CAN WE BETTER SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR ORGANIZATION?
Please provide the AS attendance forms earlier in advance so we can prepare printed QR codes - the first one I had received in an email was the outdated form from last school year.
