There was a difference due to a number of attendees who RSVP'd falling ill. Going on, to decrease this difference we plan to begin promotion earlier and give clearer messaging about the tangible takeaways. Promoting our events through student org or academic department newsletter may also help.

This event was in preparation for our annual flagship networking event "Dining With Professionals". It's purpose was to provide professional development by giving students a low-pressure environment to learn and practice networking skills.
Yes, the event was successful. Students actively participated in networking exercises. The relaxed setting encouraged attendance and made participants more comfortable practicing communication skills.

For future events, we may have more structured networking prompts or timed rotations to see to it that all participants have equal opportunities to engage.
We would start promotion earlier and increase outreach through academic department newsletters and collaboration with other student organizations.
