IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? Our estimated attendance was 55, but our actual attendance was 76. We think there was a difference because this was our first ever event, so we did not have a baseline attendance to estimate from other than an interest Google Form. To decrease the difference in the future, we will take attendance at all non A.S. funded GBMs/events to get an accurate estimate of our average attendance overall.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The goal of the event was to gain new members and share the goals and plans for our organization.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, I think the event was a big success. Although we exceeded our estimated turnout, we still had more than enough food to serve all attendees. Many attendees also stayed behind to discuss the club and research interests with MMCB's officers, showing that we have generated interest in our organization.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
No, it did not appear that attendance differed from what was recorded on the A.S. attendance verification. The Forum has a capacity of about 120, and about half of the chairs were filled during the presentation. This tracks with our verified attendance of 76.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
There were no complications. We had leftover food, but we resolved this issue by allowing attendees to take extras with them. In the future, if any complications arise, we will resolve them to the best of our ability and report it to A.S.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
For the next event, I would like to have a better baseline estimate of attendance to ensure that we aren't underestimating or overestimating attendance. We will accomplish this by having attendance forms at every non A.S. funded event to get a better idea of how many members usually attend our events.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
I think our online advertisement and promotion was sufficient, as many attendees stated that they heard of the event via our Instagram.
