We estimated attendance for this event to be around 35 students when the actual attendance was 24. The difference was likely due to some students not submitting their AS forms. Not to mention, the shorter notice regarding the event date and details may have contributed to the lower turnout. For future events, we plan to reduce this gap by promoting events earlier and more effectively, ensuring that all members complete the required AS forms, and incorporating more interactive elements to make the event more engaging.

This event was our first ever club mixer. The purpose of the event was to allow students to converse and create meaningful relationships with others of a similar mindset. As this is a relatively new club and only our second event, fostering these initial connections was very important to us.
We do consider this event to be a success. It provided students with the valuable opportunity to network, discuss internship experiences, and learn more about interviewing with large companies. Several attendees also shared that they found the information in these sessions extremely helpful.
Attendance did not differ by much compared to what was recorded on AS attendance verification. It was off by maybe three or four people. We believe this is a product of people forgetting to sign the AS form since we didn't keep track of who was signing it near the end of the event.
There were no complications.
Next time, we intend to promote the event much earlier and on more platforms in order for the event to gather more attention. To incentivize, we'll mention the food being offered during the event as well.
We'll post our events more and earlier. Our graphics as of now are interesting and legible so we'll keep those as they are.
