I would want to announce the event earlier and maybe reschedule it to a more ideal week.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
To teach students design fundamentals and Figma so that students could create their own frontend designs from scratch using component libraries.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, because students were engaged and excited to create something on their own, and I even heard one say that frontend was less scary now because of our workshop.

I would repost or make an announcement for the event on Instagram beforehand, instead of just Discord, to reach more people, as well as announce the event earlier.
