IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? Yes, we anticipated more students to come than the actual attendance. We believe this is because our GBM was during time of midterms and exams, which could have decreased the actual attendance. Based on the RSVP form, we also expected more members to actually show up. We can decrease the difference in attendance for future events by advertising the event more through social media, word of mouth, and our newsletter. We can also try and time it during a less busy time period for students.

To give students an opportunity workshop for volunteering, shadowing, and research opportunities and give them advice for future opportunities.

Yes, the event was a success. Many students found our GBM to ben very helpful and informational on various pre-med/pre-health related topics and opportunities in research, volunteering, and shadowing.
