IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? Some students told us it was difficult to find the room, which we think impacted attendance. I think we also started advertising too late on Instagram and our newsletter.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The goal of the event was to allow students to learn about research, how to get into research, and network with PIs.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, I consider the event to be a huge success because students have very lengthy conversations with PIs and many told us how meaningful it was to have smaller group conversations with PIs.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
Some students had trouble finding the room.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
I would post directions to the room on Instagram earlier.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
I would start promotion earlier so students are aware of it.
