WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
Connect female engineering students with our female faculty to learn more about their experiences while celebrating Women’s history month and bring together the women in STEM community.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes. AIChE frequently hosts faculty mixers, and this was our first time having a themed mixer. Compared to all of our other mixers, this one had the most attendance by far and just a had a really positive and empowering environment. Collaborating with SWE also really helped our attendance as well and we’re really glad we were able to use this opportunity to collaborate with them!

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
Yes, we were anticipating a high attendance due to the theme, but because it was week 10, I think the attendance was lower than expected.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
We had to move the event back by one week because we had missed our TAP deadline, so I think making sure to stay on top of that since week 9 is probably a better time for students than week 10.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
We would like to ask more student orgs to help us repost the event.
