There was a significant difference in our estimated and actual attendance. Prior to the event we'd underestimated the turnout as we continued to confirm the involvement of additional student organizations at our event as it approached.

This event fits A.S. funding guidelines since it will be a networking/recruitment event for various pre-professional organizations at UCSD, that's open to UCSD students and supports professional development through entrepreneurship network expansion.
Yes, we consider the event to be a success, since leading up to the event we were able to demonstrate solidarity for the Makerspace which will be staying open. Apart from that, we were able to provide an event that served as a platform for many organizations to advertise learning opportunities to students to further develop their professional and technical skills.
It's important to note that although our actual attendance recorded was high, we likely had more students attend than how many were recorded since we hosted our event at Sun God lawn, although we did our best funnel everyone attending the event through a check point where they would have completed the AS verification form.
