I believe the difference in the estimated and actual attendance was a result of a slight error in our advertising, in which the correct date was listed in the caption of our post, but the actual flyer had a typo and listed a slightly different date. To decrease the difference for future events, being more thorough and checking for typos will help minimize misunderstandings.

The purpose of the event was to provide a chance for members to de-stress and interact with other members and board/officers.
The event was somewhat of a success because we were able to fulfill our event purpose, but it the turnout was smaller than we had hoped.
Our attendance differed by 1 person as one of our officers who arrived late failed to fill out the attendance verification.
To improve, we should start by planning our event agenda earlier so we can also begin advertising earlier, as well as be more careful when double checking information on posts.
I would like to try promoting our event online more, possibly with tiktok/instagram reels challenges to gain more media attraction.
